Chevron is accepting online applications for the **Product Owner, Retail Host & Network** position through **July 10, 2025** at **11:59 p.m. (CST).**
This role is part of the Global Marketing, Service, and Technology organization and is responsible for leading the evolution of retail payment technology architecture by evaluating emerging technologies. Additionally, it includes overseeing the entire payment processing infrastructure, which encompasses cloud-native Point-of-Sale systems, AI-driven fraud detection, contactless NFC, loT integrations, payment gateways, network interfaces, mobile payments, loyalty systems, forecourt controllers, and cloud-based transaction processing platforms.
The Product Owner will define and drive the long-term digital roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, security, and resilience for future business needs.
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in real-time credit and debit card transaction processing network, experience in Point-of-Sale technologies and payment infrastructure. The position requires strong leadership in agile product development, and a collaborative mindset to engage cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and operational execution to shape the future of payment systems.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Lead the strategic vision and execution of digital solutions for Retail network and payments solutions.
+ Define and maintain a long-term product roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends.
+ Translate complex business requirements into actionable product features and user stories.
+ Engage and align stakeholders across sales, marketing and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and priorities.
+ Drive agile execution by managing backlogs, facilitating sprint planning, and ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features.
+ Apply deep knowledge of retail technology for U.S. fuels business, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations to guide product decisions.
+ Leverage knowledge of Payments Card Industry (PCI) Standards, Connexus to optimize workflows and support scalable solutions.
+ Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years’ experience in Point-of-Sale technologies and payment infrastructure.
+ Strong understanding of Payments Card Industry (PCI) Standards and understanding of Conexxus standards and specification for the convenience store and retail fuel industry.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
+ Experience managing vendor management.
+ Experience developing multi-year digital product roadmaps.
