About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and relationship-driven Product Manager to lead engagement with state jurisdictions and champion our Driving Risk Violations Suite. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product management and stakeholder engagement, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry's data needs and regulatory landscape. This role blends product expertise with a sales-like approach to stakeholder engagement, requiring a proactive communicator who can navigate complex conversations and foster long-term partnerships.

Position will be hybrid in Alpharetta, GA - 3x week

Responsibilities

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with state jurisdictions, acting as the primary point of contact.Lead negotiations and manage complex conversations with state agencies, especially when issues arise or data access is at risk.Serve as the voice of the customer—translating insurer needs into product enhancements and ensuring alignment with jurisdictional requirements.Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external partners, providing insights into regulatory trends and data quality.

Product Ownership & Strategy

Develop a deep understanding of the Driving Risk Violations Suite and its application across different insurance lines (Commercial, Personal, Life).Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to drive product success and customer satisfaction.Shape product vision and roadmap based on customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory developments.Proactively follow up on data requests, documentation, and jurisdictional feedback to maintain operational continuity.

Data-Driven Decision-Making

Gather and analyze data from multiple sources (market, customer, internal systems) to inform product decisions.Evaluate product hypotheses and trade-offs using quantitative methods.Identify insights from product usage and performance data to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Go-to-Market & Delivery

Support go-to-market strategies by communicating customer requirements and timelines to stakeholders.Assist in launch planning, training, and collateral development for internal and external teams.Ensure smooth product delivery through collaboration with engineering and adherence to agile development practices.

Requirments

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.4–6 years of experience in product management or stakeholder engagement roles.Proven ability to build and manage relationships in a client-facing or regulatory environment.Strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting, risk assessment, or compliance.Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn complex products and regulatory frameworks.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and project management capabilities.Experience managing difficult conversations and resolving conflicts constructively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with or within state departments of motor vehicles, insurance regulators, or similar agencies.Familiarity with driving records, MVRs, or violation data used in insurance underwriting or claims.Background in data-driven product environments or regulatory frameworks.
