Product Marketing Manager, Digital & Feature Integration
Job Description

This role is categorized as HYBRID. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

The Cross Brand and Export Product Marketing team seeks to support new revenue growth from combining over 25 years of vehicle connectivity and telematics experience with new software-defined vehicle capabilities for the mission of making our customers' vehicles and driving experience better over time. Our customers will see new value and innovations in, Advanced Driving Assistance Services (ADAS). New innovations from hands-free driving with Super Cruise, integrated connected navigation and intelligent assistance, and over-the-air vehicle performance upgrades all seek to create new value for customers.

The Product Marketing team for Cross-Brand and Export is an integrated part of the broader Product Marketing organization partnering with our vehicle brand teams (Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC), Vehicle Program teams, and Software & Services Teams.

Description of Role:

The Product Marketing Manager, Digital & Feature Integration will be responsible for driving the short- and long-term business results by working to increase the presence of emerging technology in our vehicles that enable future digital revenue in our car parc over time. Reporting to the Manager - Cross-Brand Strategy, in this role, you will lead and represent digital & hardware revenue plans and commitments from across product domains as part of the overall vehicle program business case through Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP) milestones. This role will also continuously assess execution commitments against business plan targets across all global connected markets to ensure communication, alignment, and preparedness toward business plan sufficiency to our long-term plan. This individual will also be a champion to drive all new organizational capabilities required to grow digital upgrades and revenue streams.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Advanced Technology Insertion, Vehicle Program, Brand Product Marketing, and Vehicle Portfolio Planning teams to identify and quantify business case value of emerging technologies’ capability to generate future digital revenues.Champion digital revenue and EBIT targets into the overall vehicle program business cases throughout all GVDP milestones and decisions gates driven by target customer, segment profile, product roadmaps, and projected business performance. Work with Vehicle Program teams upstream in Global Vehicle Development Process milestones to incorporate hardware needs for maximizing enterprise digital revenue generation and penetration rates as input into vehicle contenting.Collaborate with OnStar product team to create new tools and processes for vehicle program and brand teams to understand forward-looking views of available digital products mapped to planned vehicle hardware contenting.Build cross-product portfolio view of product roadmap execution in partnership with Software & Services Program Management across all connected global regions and continuously assess plan against business plan targets and assumptions for sufficiency.Assess and represent digital capability and value of vehicle software architectures with Software & Services Product Management to support program and product decisions.Champion new opportunities for digital go-to-market and digital upgrades to unlock additional value from SDV and connectivity.Drive go-to-market requirements for digital upgrades into Software & Services Product Management team to support build out of OTA, eCommerce, and vehicle configuration infrastructure.Create and enhance analytical tools, views, and forecasts of vehicle car parc capability into which new digital products can be distributed based on vehicle program and contenting data sources.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.7+ years of product marketing or product management experience and SSM experience.Experience building, analyzing, and communicating business cases in partnership with Finance to all levels of leadership.Experience with common systems, tools and processes including Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP), Product Program Content sheets and analyzer (PPCs), Program Content Change Request (PCCRs)Knowledge of vehicle electrical architectures, software, and systems (e.g. ADAS, Infotainment, SDV, Connectivity)Demonstrated collaboration skills with proven experience working in cross functional teams to lead by influenceExperience working with market research and analytics to curate customer insights and market trends.Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively communicate and present to all levels of the company
