Product Manager- Subscriptions & Revenue Management

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our Business Technology Applications team. The successful candidate will partner with the Revenue management (Finance) team to prioritize, plan and implement scalable processes and systems. We use Oracle Fusion Financials integrated with numerous SaaS systems including Salesforce. The Product Manager will be responsible for analyzing existing processes & systems, identifying improvement areas, framing data driven decisions, and defining the roadmap in a collaborative manner. They will drive the software lifecycle from idea to delivery, with excellent business communication throughout to ensure business outcomes are achieved.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain a deep understanding of Guidewire specific finance & revenue stakeholders’ business goals, priorities, and success measures. 

Analyze and document business processes in revenue and subscriptions, accounting needs for the domain, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Articulate clear proposals and delivery plans using succinct and accurate written and verbal communications. 

Establish a product roadmap that adds significant value to the business, is efficient in its delivery, and can be easily sustained in operations.

Own the development and delivery of a product roadmap, incorporating projects, features, enhancements and providing support.

Work with cross-functional IT groups for solution delivery, building functional designs and configuration documents.

Manage scope, assess risks, and anticipate blockers.

Define Functional and User Acceptance Test plans, ensuring comprehensive testing through individual test execution when required.  

Become a subject matter expert in how the business users perform their jobs, now, and in the future.

Be well-versed with playbooks and follow processes, optimizing or building processes where necessary.

Communicate with stakeholders to ensure status, challenges, and decisions are efficiently dispositioned.

Champion your product team in internal marketing and enablement. 

Report on KPIs regularly. 

Leverage  AI/GPT to enhance your deliverables and explore opportunities in business use cases to automate tasks, gain insights, and improve decision-making processes.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in business technology applications.

Specific to Revenue and Subscription Management:

Understand and maintain the Revenue and Order sources and details of the process steps

Understand and maintain the global setup of Guidewire business and its configuration in Oracle Financial systems and fully understand the system dependencies.

Ability to configure the systems (RMCS, OSM, AR)  to add new entities and ability to project the pre-req and dependencies

Support the Finance and Revenue team during period close activity.


Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant work experience.

Excellent knowledge (with hands on configuration experience) of Oracle Fusion Financial  Applications especially focussing on Revenue Management, Subscription Management, Accounts Receivables, and Collections. 

Understanding of GAAP/accounting and ASC 606 Revenue standards, and experience designing and implementing processes and systems that support them.

Proficient in creating BI Publisher reports and skilled in data analysis and interpretation

Functional knowledge of the Fusion API.

Functional knowledge of GL, Cash Management and Order Management is a plus

Functional knowledge of Salesforce is a plus

Results-oriented; ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Hands-on knowledge agile or iterative software development methodology

Strong knowledge of business processes and IT systems.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to inspire, build trust, and influence.

Clear and impactful written communications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000 - $208,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
