Your role and responsibilities

One of your main responsibilities as Product Manager Runtime Platform will be to monitor industry trends, competitors, and market needs to ensure a competitive platform strategy aligned with customer and industry demands. Also, you collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D to position the platform effectively, prioritize customer requirements, and guide the roadmap.Further:•\tDevelop a clear business model, offering bundles, and pricing strategy for growth.•\tDrive market opportunity pipeline and align product decisions with growth objectives.•\tBuild and manage strategic partnerships to enhance platform capabilities and adoption.•\tEngage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and strengthen the ecosystem

Qualifications for the role

10+ years in Software Engineering (embedded and cloud technologies) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in the automation industry.Strong expertise in software application lifecycle management and value creation across the lifecycle.Deep understanding of automation industry needs, including software-mechatronics integration, deterministic behavior, low latency, and field bus communication.Proven experience collaborating directly with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams.Skilled in bridging technical and business perspectives to align technology decisions with customer value.Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.Knowledge of software business models, pricing strategies, and monetization for industrial automation environment (English is a must, German preferred)
