The Product Manager is responsible for managing a product or portfolio within the product line.  The successful candidate will execute the strategy as envisioned by the Global Product Line Director or Product Line Manager.  The responsibilities of this role include supporting product development and investment decisions, executing product go-to-market strategy, developing product marketing materials, and cross-functional collaboration to support product life cycle management.


Essential Responsibilities:

Being accountable for the functional, business, and financial performance of the product(s).Serving as the product's advocate both internally and externally. Conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and training for stakeholders, customers, and partners to showcase the product's value proposition and benefits.Developing a product strategy and vision based on market research, customer feedback, and product line goals. Working across the organization to validate the S&OP forecast and identify products for special supply chain strategies.  Works with supply chain organization to identify opportunities for cost reduction and cost optimization  Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation. Defining the product roadmap and prioritizes features and enhancements accordingly.Owning the PDM (Product development Management) process for product management.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering & Technology, supply chain, Service delivery, and others, to achieve successful development.  Participates in Stage Gates with the technology team and provides documentation as required for gate meetings Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to products.  Aligns and leverages total supplier base to influence product line and market strategy. Planing and executing successful product launches, including defining pricing strategies, positioning the product in the market, and developing marketing and communication plans.  Ensures technology advancements are validated with customers and regulatory agencies.Being responsible for the product life cycle and product performance of the product.  Monitors NPR/NPI performance. Leading initiatives that combine product development and process improvement activities.Providing technical support to Service Delivery teams for specific escalation requests.  Being responsible for leading initiatives and associated technologies to drive carbon footprint reduction.Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Have a Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline or Bachelor's Degres and 5 years of cross-functional Project Leadership experience or equivalent  Have minimum 5+ years' experience in sales, operations, technology or technical support Have Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.Have Business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.Be available for travel (>25%)Have understanding of product managementHave proven technical and business acumenHave adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Have roven experience in product strategies Have demonstrated problem-solving ability and results orientation Have previous experience in marketing products and servicesHave good written and oral communication skills Have the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
