Responsibilities Make an impact Own the WCS Product Vision: Define and evolve the roadmap for the WCS layer, aligning it with market needs and the overall WMS strategy. Bridge Tech and Operations: Translate complex technical requirements into clear product features, working closely with engineering, system architects, and automation experts. Drive Integration Excellence: Ensure smooth communication between SynQ and various automation technologies (e.g. conveyors, shuttles, robotics). Customer-Centric Development: Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and key customers to continuously improve product functionality and usability, with clear focus on standardization. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and quality outcomes. Prioritize with Purpose: Manage the product backlog, make data-informed decisions, and balance short-term deliverables with long-term innovation. Support Go-to-Market: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure successful product launches and customer onboarding. Application Requirements What you need to succeed Education: Bachelor or Master degree in User Experience Design (UX/UXD) or Computer Science, Business Informatics with focus on UX/UXD or a related field. Proven Experience: You bring at least 5 years in product or project management, ideally in logistics, automation, or enterprise software environments. Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of warehouse automation and software-to-hardware integration. Familiarity with SAP EWM is a plus, supporting collaboration with our SAP team to align WMS product roadmaps. At Swisslog, we offer both SynQ and SAP EWM, aiming for cross-functional standardization. Strategic Thinking: Ability to define product strategy and translate it into actionable development plans. Strong Communicator: Skilled at aligning diverse stakeholders - from developers to executives - with clear and concise communication. Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in agile environments and managing iterative product development cycles. Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 20%) to customer sites or Swisslog offices worldwide.
