Product Manager - Loyalty

Job Description
Insight Global's client is seeking a Product Manager for their Loyalty and Value team, which focuses on coupons and offers. This role involves technical integrationensuring the platform properly ties in with the coupon system. This person will likely work on a project implementing a new type of coupon - this is aligned to a Sr PM, but this new PM will be taking a large portion of this - building net-new user functionality; opportunity to build complex solutions for large-scale organization. This work is cross functional and diverse (front end, backend, in store, etc) working across the enterprise.
This person should be more of technical product manager - spending more time "in the weeds" with multiple engineering teams on more of a delivery capacity - understands APIs, how different teams have to build different pieces for something to function. Will be looking for bullet points that explain technical depth and ability to work alongside engineering teams. They should be able to hit the ground running quickly
Key Responsibilities:
Highly Cross-Functional Work: Collaborating across 12 teams for loyalty-related initiatives.
Rebate Coupon Project: Developing a rebate feature that automatically deposits refunded money into PayPal accounts using various APIs.
Technical Depth: Ensuring the PDP (Product Detail Page) receives accurate datanot just a surface-level design role.
Supporting Senior Product Manager: Assisting in project execution and oversight.
Upcoming Initiatives:
New Coupon System: A store-wide coupon integration is in progress.
Revamping MyWalgreens Loyalty Program: Moving toward a tiered loyalty structure.
Next Few Months: Focused on scoping and discovery for the Loyalty program.
Engineering Collaboration: Working closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation.
This role requires deep technical expertise, cross-functional coordination, and involvement in critical loyalty program enhancements.
This process involves comprehensive documentation of edge cases to ensure all potential scenarios are accounted for. Through acceptance testing, the team thoroughly evaluates possible technical situations, considering "if-then" conditions to address real-world complexities. This approach requires deep technical thinking, examining intricate details to preemptively identify and resolve potential issues.

Skills and Requirements
-5-10 years of experience in a Product Manager Role - leading sprints, collaborating with engineering, grooming the backlog, prioritizing tasks to drive product development.
-Retail/ecommerce experience experience working for a large retail company
-This requires familiarity with APIs, including an understanding of how they function and how data flows between systems, specifically in backend API interactions.
-Front end and backend applications, and how it ties it together
-Comprehensive Documentation of Edge cases - Acceptance Testing, thinking through technically "they could be in this situation, if then, then this" thinking in the weeds
-Jira/ADO
-Experience working with Scrum teams
-Organized and communicative, able to try communications with team members -Loyalty, coupons experience would be great! null
