**Your role and responsibilities**
About the Role
In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside our growing Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. Our IAM team operates through a customer focused lens, permitting a single unified identity across all HashiCorp cloud and self-managed products with audited, reliable, cross-product least-privileged access control. This role will be an exciting opportunity to deliver public facing solutions solving our biggest customers' needs. You will also gain exposure to HashiCorp's product suite and first hand experience with customers & subject matter experts.

Communicate with customers to define what problems we need to solve

Find the essence of customer issues and help communicate them back to your team and a broad set of stakeholders

Define a hypothesis to validate your assumptions

Learn to persuade and communicate your vision in written form and visual presentation

Collaborate closely with product management, design, and engineering teams to execute against the vision
**Required technical and professional expertise**
*
Have the constant desire to understand how things work and curiosity for why people do the things they do
*
Are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in an technical fields or related discipline, (such as Information technology, CS, Engineering, Business Information and Analytics, etc.) within the United States
*
Have an undergraduate graduation date between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 (current second year student)
*
Have experience reviewing data and interpreting insights, and/or research experience
*
Have academic or experience working in a professional environment
*
Have the ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Familiarity with IBM and HashiCorp products and services.
