We invest in our team members, offering a wide variety of internal and external development opportunitiesLocation: role can be based in Zug- Switzerland, UK or within the EUYour new responsibilities•     Proactively gather relevant needs from internal and external stakeholders, support new business opportunities and models and define our future Building Technologies Edge computing platform, including implementation jointly with our R&D colleagues and external partners in the SAFe Agile Framework•     Understand the relevance for our Building Technologies portfolio of main digital trends in Edge and Cloud computing, IoT, big data and analytics•     Act as leader for the role of distributed, Edge based technology and its use for current and next generation Building Technology software platforms and services•     Review, manage, and implement the strategy of the existing Edge software and hardware portfolio from conception to launch, market adoption, and end of life in close collaboration with the regional digital service delivery organizations worldwide•     Take ownership driving new topics from idea generation to first implementation and work with cross-regional teams in a complex, multi-sourced environment with many stakeholders•     Act as the ambassador for our Edge and Connectivity topics when collecting requirements and presenting ideas to different stakeholders, such as internal and external developers, product managers and regional partners•     Coordinate and communicate product releases in collaboration with cross-functional teamsYour skills and experience•     Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, telecommunications or related field. A combination of technical and business degree is desired•     5+ years of experience in a related product management position, being responsible for the life cycle of IT platforms within the field of Edge computing and Connectivity, ideally gained in an international technology environment•     Affinity for network communications, cloud and IoT and experienced in project management within a very dynamic field of technology•     Experienced in cross regional and organizational teams in a complex, multi sourced environment with many stakeholders•     Customer orientation and an ability to think outside the box helps you to anticipate customers’ needs and future trends•     Strong communication on different levels. A winning personality able to collaborate effectively in a complex matrix organization with global teams and exercise influence in intercultural environments•     Excellent written and communication skills in English.
