Product Manager - Customer Data Program Delivery

Job Summary Directly responsible for multiple products within a portfolio and/or management responsibilities of Product Owners aligned to a specific value-stream, workflow, customer journey or product family. Provides leadership and has accountability for successfully defining and delivering products that anticipate the needs of customers/workers/users, delivering results against P&L objectives. This position is highly involved in the funding management and budgeting processes for portfolio. Responsibilities + May perform management duties related to the supervision of Product Owners and Product Analysts + Lead the product planning process. Gathers input from users/customers/stakeholders to create long-term strategy. Sets direction and priority. + Performs stakeholder management, user/market segmentation, competitive analysis, product funding requests, release planning and business case realization (product P&L). + Collaborate with the organization on vision, strategy, decisioning, tactical execution, and measurement systems + Develop and implement new product introduction and roll-out strategy, plans, and content with cross-functional teams and leaders. + Effectively communicate the value of the workflow/journey/family, and the products within it, to stakeholders Basic/Required Qualifications + Bachelors degree AND six (6) years minimum required related experience + In lieu of degree and experience listed above, High School/GED AND 10 years minimum required related experience Additional Preferred Qualifications + Experience as a Senior or Lead Product Owner of a technical product + Experience working with AWS data product architecture + Previous experience working in a hands-on technical role (i.e., software developer, analyst, engineer, etc) + Five or more years of experience in project management + Experience in coordinating teams and clients + Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management + Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills + Intellectually curious and creative, eager to generate ideas to solve business problems + Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills + Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to multitask with minimal oversight + Capable of building, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with executives, key clients and subject matter experts while working in a team environment Working Conditions + Hybrid Mobility Classification – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility Specific Requirements + Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software + Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development team + Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate + Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities + Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships and effectively influence across all management and organizational levels + Strong understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases + Ability to educate and communicate to leaders across the Company on effective use of digital tools + Ability to quickly understand business, evaluate priorities and assess value of product features + Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities + Two or more years experience with relevant new product or technology development experience working in a fast-paced environment + Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals Travel Requirements Not required Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable) No Represented/Union Position No Visa Sponsored Position No Posting Expiration Date Friday, July 25, 2025 All job postings expire at 12:01 AM on the posting expiration date.
