Auto Club Enterprises is looking for a strategic leader to grow our Commodity Travel Product lines.
Develop and implements strategic plans of assigned Travel Product Lines: which include Airline, Car, Hotel, Insurance, and additional Ancillary travel products. Manages and coordinates all activities in the enhancement of existing products and/or the development of new products. Monitors profitability, productivity and growth targets of assigned product lines and make recommendations/corrections to improve attainment of Club's goals and objectives. Conducts market and competitive research to effectively evaluate marketing plans and goals, and to develop optimum sales/service effectiveness. Represents the Club when negotiating with outside vendors and business partners.
Job Duties
Develop and execute a comprehensive travel strategy for assigned products to enhance AAA’s presence in the travel industry and generate member engagement.
Utilizes trends, developments in the marketplace and Travel Advisor needs to shape product and service offerings. Manage the development/enhancement of products and programs including research, analysis, proposals, testing and product introduction.
Oversee the implementation of a strategic marketing plan for the assigned product line.
Facilitate open communication between the Club and outside vendors/business partners on issues such as market research, development, complaints, advertising compliance, and service quality.
Act as project manager in the implementation of all strategic initiatives for assigned product line. Ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
Develop detailed strategy for product distribution channels. Determine and direct how strategy fits with the overall distribution strategy of the Club.
Establish project goals. Monitor and evaluate progress against targeted goals and make corrections to attain assigned objectives.
Maintain a high level of skill and current knowledge of product line and apply knowledge in proposing and directing the development of product initiatives.
Work with multiple areas of the organization to ensure the development, execution, and success of all product line initiatives.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Position requires a high degree of independent decision making and problem-solving skills. Regularly makes decisions involving the direction of major projects.
Responsible for working with various teams to implement the latest trends in Travel, including marketplace offers, training, marketing (Digital/Print) and vendor management.
Lead the process of overall prioritization (based on data/insights), defining & setting business & user requirements, and analyze & report on performance to business partners.
Cultivate and manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and resources in the development of products.
Qualifications
Bachelors’ Equivalent combination of education and experience
4-6 years Product management, product development required
Moderate knowledge of AAA products and operations is highly desired.
Advanced ability to think strategically and transform strategy into actionable plans
required.
Advanced ability required in defining and leading implementation of new processes.
Requires advanced ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization– both verbally and in writing.
Requires moderate ability to compile, analyze and interpret statistical data.
Advanced organization, planning, and problem resolution skills required.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$117,600.00 - $156,400.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
