Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Adaptive Tendering Initiative and manage offerings throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they meet division needs. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Hubs and local Divisions to align with ABB’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure robust product management, and spearhead productivity improvement efforts to further optimize tendering processes and drive innovationThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India or Czech Republic.You will be mainly accountable for:• Lead and manage stakeholders in Adaptive Tendering to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.• Work with Bids & Proposal and Sales Leaders to create and execute the tendering strategy, increasing the use of adaptive tendering practices.• Work closely and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of projects and Effectively manage multiple priorities, schedules, and ensure timely results while providing regular progress updates.• Act as the Product Owner for XaitPorter, overseeing user access, ticket handling, and ensuring the platform meets business needs and user requirements and Collaborate with IS to ensure tools compliance and adherence to cybersecurity standards.• Identify and prioritize functional requirements for tendering tools in collaboration with Hubs and Local Divisions and Lead discussions with various stakeholders to prioritize, produce, review, and approve global content libraries and templates on a regular basis.• Prepare and distribute product release notes, training materials, and conduct webinars to keep users informed and properly trained and Provide and coordinate training for teams on adaptive tendering tools and Utilize AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency in the tendering process.• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track project progress.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Overall 10+ years of experience in Bids and Proposals in Automation Field preferably in ICSS, Electrical or digital solutions/service. Ability to define product vision and strategy and to drive product development and proven experience in project management including planning, execution, and reporting and Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies and Sound knowledge of XaitPorter system and deep understanding of sales / bids & proposal engagement and the tender process. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions, excellent communication and collaboration skills and fluent in written and oral English. A university degree (BS, MS) in a technical field (engineering or quantitative science).
