In this role, you will manage the North American HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer) product portfolio—valued at $70M in net sales—overseeing pricing, profitability, planning, and availability while serving as the key link between customer-facing commercial teams and internal support functions. **As a Product Manager, you create chemistry by...** + Coordinating regional business planning and implementation for the assigned product portfolio in alignment with Global Product Managers, Account Managers, and supporting functions. + Leveraging customer-facing experience to identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and direct engagement with customers and partners. + Combining deep knowledge of Plastics Additives technologies with industry analysis to define regional product strategies, manage lifecycle, ensure compliance and quality, and support new product launches. + Communicating strategy and developing regional pricing guidelines, forecasting costs, setting price limits, and approving pricing below threshold. + Demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the sales organization, including Global Key Accounts, and promote offerings across application markets. + Applying process and project management expertise to define product strategy, manage volume allocation during shortages, and optimize asset utilization and inventory for North America. + Using analytical and data skills—including knowledge of data analytics and programming—to leverage external sources like import data and competitive intelligence for strategic decision-making. **If you...** + Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Economics, or a related field. + Possess 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in the Chemical Industry, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, or Supply Chain. + Hold foundational knowledge in data analytics and basic programming, considered a strong asset. + Bring relevant industry experience and cross-functional collaboration skills to support strategic product management. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
