You Are:

We are seeking a strategic and technically savvy Product Manager to lead the roadmap and execution of our Cloud Container Platform offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and lifecycle management of container-based cloud infrastructure products, including Kubernetes orchestration, developer experience, and platform scalability.

 

The opportunity:

·       Define the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the cloud container platform, aligned with company objectives.

·       Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features and enhancements across Kubernetes, container runtimes, CI/CD integrations, observability, and developer tooling.

·       Leverage deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in designing, building, and operating cloud container tools like Kubernetes and Docker.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into product specifications.

·       Drive the product lifecycle from concept to release – including discovery, design, development, launch, and iteration.

·       Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in cloud-native computing.

·       Serve as the voice of the customer, leveraging market research, user feedback, and data insights to drive product decisions.

·       Partner with marketing and sales teams to support go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and customer enablement.

·       Define and track key success metrics to measure product impact and adoption.

·       Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and issues, ensuring swift resolution and continuous delivery of high-quality security features

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related technical field.

·       5+ years of product management experience, ideally in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering tools.

·       Hands-on understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container runtimes (Docker, containerd), and cloud-native technologies.

·       Experience working directly with engineers on API design, scalability challenges, and system integration.

·       Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, AKS).

·       Strong understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and the cloud-native ecosystem (e.g., CNCF projects, service mesh, monitoring tools).

·       Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and experience in backlog management, refinement, and prioritization.

·       Experience working with developer-focused products and infrastructure-as-code workflows.

·       Technical acumen to work closely with engineering teams and understand architectural trade-offs.

·       Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

·       Experience with Agile methodologies and modern product discovery practices

·       Proven experience in developing cloud container solutions on Kubernetes and Docker.

·       Preferred Qualifications:

·       Familiarity with security, compliance, and multi-tenant platform operations.

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Washington

Compensation Range: $100,000-$150,000

 

 

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
