Product Manager

Job Description

The Product Manager will provide overall business direction and leadership for a designated product franchise at our company. This role is pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with franchise goals, ensuring effective implementation in the field. The Product Manager will serve as the mobilizing force to integrate marketing and sales initiatives, driving optimum results. Additionally, this role includes the ongoing development and motivation of the team, aligning their efforts with the company’s core values. The Product Manager will also be responsible for the performance management, coaching, and talent development of up to two Sales & Marketing Executives, ensuring they are equipped to meet their targets and grow professionally.

Marketing Management

Develop marketing /launch plans in-line with global strategy for local execution.Develop mutually sustainable strategies and implement to various customer persona simultaneously.Uses in-depth knowledge of marketing strategies to set short- and long-term strategy at a local and/or regional level and differentiates between strategic marketing and tactical execution to ensure that the strategy is driving the tactics.Short term and long term budget planning, analyze and assess risk/ opportunities for assigned franchiseDrive marketing programs/ campaigns and deliver on product objectivesProvide training and timely product updates to the sales teamPlan and execute market research studiesPropose and manage annual product promotional expenditure to agreed targetsInnovative utilization of data and analytics to uncover new market opportunities or solve business challenges.Drive digital marketing integration into very facets of brand management.Appropriate allocation of resources and support to encourage and inspire creation of effective digital contents or solutions which will drive customer action or behaviors.

Sales Management

Lead the team to achieve agreed sales and market share targetsSets territory sales targets and promotional grid in conjunction with marketing requirementsEnsure team operates within company policies and standardsWork with Training and Development Department to improve field force effectivenessField visits and coaching of sales teamCustomize coaching approach based on performance readiness and behavioral style of coachee.Coach sales team to achieve performance standard by setting clear short term and long term behavior objectives and performance outcome.Guides sales team in developing their data analytics skills to build a data-driven organizationGuides sales team in understanding complex account interdependencies in order to develop both short- and long-term account plans in conjunction with a wide array of stakeholders and lead execution to deliver on the account plan.

Stakeholder Engagement

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal teams.Market Insights: Gather and analyze market insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance product positioning.

People Development

Recruitment, on-boarding, lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales & Marketing Executives, fostering a high-performance culture of new team member(s)Implement coaching programs and development plans to enhance the skills and capabilities of the Sales & Marketing Executives, ensuring they are aligned with franchise goals and company values.Conduct regular performance discussions with direct reports and provides feedback for performance and capability improvementDevelopment and retention of talents

Finance Management

Be accountable for P&L of assigned franchiseEnsure overall spend within agreed budget to drive maximum ROI

Administration and Other Responsibilities

Provides report for senior management as requiredPrepare and present regular reports on franchise performance, marketing effectiveness, and sales results to senior management.Utilize data analytics to assess the impact of marketing initiatives and inform future strategies.Checks monthly expense reports to ensure that they are correct, accurate, and for appropriate business purposesOther responsibilities as required by Management
