Job Description
This role serves as the primary liaison between operations teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and the sales organization, in executing forecasting processes. It is an exciting opportunity to drive growth and productivity in a company experiencing consistent year-over-year growth.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain short- to long-term forecasts for product line volumes and revenues.Communicate expectations to leadership, commercial, and operations teams.Track and react to product line success metrics.Coordinate with supply chain on forecast details to support raw material and labor planning.Lead ongoing analysis of market trends and competitors to assist the commercial team in delivering incremental growth opportunities at targeted prospects.Improve product mix through pricing, product expansion, and capacity utilization decisions.Serve as interface and product expert with sales team; drive up-sell and new qualifications.Drive empowerment of inside and outside sales team through expanded development of pricing tools and templates.Maximize pricing and overall margin potential in a competitive market.Manage new product extensions and execution through SAP workflow tools, coordinating with operations and supply chain teams.Assist in commercial process improvement through helping to establish and enforce guidelines around order management, campaign planning, inventory optimization, and customer service.Essential SkillsProduct managementProject managementBachelor's Degree, preferably in Chemical EngineeringPrevious experience within industries such as glass, ceramics, sand, or mineral processingFamiliarity with commercial processes such as quoting, forecasting, order managementPrevious experience managing a teamAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh temperature processingExpertise in working with and the design of high temperature processing equipment of quartz, glass, ceramicsCapital projects experienceExperience with, or design of, quartz fusion processes including electric fusion, arc fusion or flame fusionWork Environment
This individual will work in an office attached to a lab and manufacturing facility. The environment supports innovative solutions in advanced materials science, contributing to the semiconductor, electronics, and aerospace industries.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
