The Work You’ll DoAs a Product Manager, you will lead and grow a portion of the Sovos product portfolio. Your mission? To ensure your product is driving value—winning market share, delighting customers, and fueling business growth. You’ll help shape and execute product strategy, direct resource allocation, and lead go-to-market efforts in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
Success in this role requires curiosity, clarity, and collaboration. You’ll engage with internal stakeholders, distribution partners, and customers alike to define and deliver solutions they can’t imagine working without.
More Specifically, You Will:Lead strategy and execution for one product or segment of the Sovos portfolio
Analyze market trends and identify key problems and opportunities
Define market segments, whitespace, and growth potential
Shape and contribute to the product roadmap
Drive roadmap execution through Agile methodologies—overseeing epics, release plans, and product backlogs
Facilitate buy/build/partner decisions
Contribute to marketing strategies and go-to-market planning
Create and maintain buyer personas and value propositions
Document typical buying journeys and align positioning accordingly
Analyze product profitability and win/loss metrics
Inform business plans, including pricing and competitive positioning
What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
2+ years of product management experience, ideally in Agile development environments
Familiarity with ERP systems or indirect tax (Sales, Use, VAT) preferred
Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
Strong communication skills with an ability to influence across functions and levels
Comfort making decisions with limited or imperfect data
Experience collaborating with executive-level stakeholders and clients
High level of initiative and commitment to continuous learning and personal development
Minimal travel required to Sovos locations and events
