Product Manager – Compliance / Commercial Messaging

T-Mobile is seeking a visionary Product Manager – Compliance/Commercial Messaging to lead the development of enterprise-grade tools that ensure our messaging platforms remain secure, trusted, and compliant. This is not your traditional product role—we’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, legal risk, data governance, and innovation.

This role is ideal for a product leader who is equally comfortable translating complex regulatory requirements into intuitive, scalable products and diving into technical conversations around architecture, automation, and data. You’ll be empowered to build solutions that not only detect and prevent abuse and fraud but also strengthen T-Mobile’s position as a customer-first, regulation-resilient organization.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Vision

Define and own the end-to-end product roadmap for compliance tooling across T-Mobile’s Commercial Messaging platforms.Identify and prioritize opportunities by combining customer difficulties, regulatory pressures, legal insights, and technical feasibility.Stay ahead of emerging legislation, privacy requirements, and communication governance standards.Shape the long-term strategy for automation, proactive monitoring, and real-time enforcement tools.

Execution & Technical Delivery

Translate sophisticated compliance and legal concepts into scalable product features and workflows.Drive Agile execution—crafting epics, user stories, and functional requirements that enable timely, quality software delivery.Partner with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to build resilient systems with minimal technical debt and maximum auditability.Ensure efficient backlog prioritization, story grooming, and alignment across multiple Agile teams.

Protection, Detection & Abuse Prevention

Design proactive fraud detection and misuse prevention mechanisms—such as pattern analysis, rule-based alerts, and AI/ML integration.Launch tools that enforce compliant behavior while preserving great user experiences.Monitor platform use for risky or anomalous behavior, and develop interventions in partnership with security and legal teams.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a bridge between legal, compliance, engineering, security, operations, and product leadership.Translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, fostering collaboration and transparency.Represent product priorities and trade-offs to cross-functional partners with clarity and influence.

Measurement & Iteration

Define and own product KPIs—such as adoption, accuracy, time-to-detection, and regulatory risk reduction.Use real-time analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL) to inform continuous improvement.Incorporate Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights and post-launch feedback to refine product offerings.

What You Bring

5+ years of proven experience in Product Management, ideally within compliance, risk, messaging, or enterprise platform domains.Proven success managing product lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment with deep knowledge of Agile tools and rituals.Excellent communication skills—able to translate between legal, technical, and business audiences.Fluent with analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, SAS, SPSS) and confident in data-driven decision making.Strong understanding of data protection, fraud prevention, and compliance frameworks (e.g., TCPA, GDPR, CCPA).Ability to influence across all levels, from engineers to executives, and rally cross-functional teams toward a shared goal.Bonus: CSPO, CSM, or PMI-ACP certifications.

Base Pay Range: $103,400 - $186,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
