Product Manager, Portfolio Architect
POSITION PROFILE
Position Overview
The role is responsible for establishing and managing the portfolio architecture direction and standards for Ricoh’s Key Areas of Focus. This position supports the evolution of the Ricoh US Portfolio by collaborating with strategy managers across industry verticals and core business domains. The role ensures alignment between business strategies and technology architecture, translating business requirements into actionable plans for technical development teams. It also champions the use of technology to modernize service delivery models and transform traditional services.
Key Responsibilities
Define and manage portfolio architecture direction and standards. Collaborate with strategy managers to align technology architecture with business strategies. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams. Champion technology adoption to modernize and optimize service delivery models. Research emerging technologies and assess their application within Ricoh’s portfolio. Develop multi-year technology roadmaps and identify strategic vendor partnerships. Communicate technical vision and roadmaps to senior leadership, customers, and vendors. Participate in strategic vendor evaluations and marketing activation processes. Ensure service delivery models reflect targeted optimizations. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop application mockups. Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business needs. Stay current on process and software enhancements to drive automation and modernization. Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage required resources. Create and execute communication plans regarding service direction and standards. Perform other duties as assigned.Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have a distinct advantage:
SaaS-Based Applications: Product management experience with SaaS platforms. Inbound Package & Mail Logistics: Optimization of enterprise inbound logistics. Outbound Copy/Print Centers: Knowledge of production workflows in print centers. Web-to-Print Platforms: Expertise in streamlining print production and enhancing customer experience.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience delivering technology solutions, preferably in emerging IT services. 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Proven experience leading large, complex development projects in a matrixed organization. Experience in organizational change management and executive-level presentations.Skills and Competencies
