Product Manager, Payments Platform
**About the Role** Uber’s vision of igniting opportunity everywhere and for everyone depends on our customers seamlessly paying for goods and services and our ability to reliably pay our partners. Additionally, we must ensure that each commerce interaction is accurately recorded and transparent to all parties involved. The Uber Payments Platform team is an integral and crucial part of realizing that vision. Money is a sensitive topic for every interaction on our marketplaces. Our mission is to ensure the experience of paying and being paid is as seamless, personal, and ubiquitous as possible. Uber’s Payments Platform is a ledger that orchestrates the movement of money between all users on our marketplaces (riders, drivers, couriers, restaurants, eaters, shippers, carriers, etc.), processing orders at the scale of 10s of millions per day. Being the core engine behind all commerce on the marketplace, it’s essential to ensure the platform is reliable enough to handle the scale of our operations while versatile and flexible enough to handle the varying use cases we offer through our different lines of business! **\-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ----** 1. Build functionality that spans multiple product lines while thinking of global solutions. The role demands both, seeing the big picture and identifying strategically meaningful problems, as well as the ability to investigate opportunities for significant product changes that are a business enabler and engagement driver. **\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----** 1. 3+ years of experience with Payments and Platform Product Management experience. 2. You have experience using analytics tools. **\-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ----** 1. Proven experience delivering highly successful and innovative platform products with your fingerprints all over them – you’re proud of what you’ve accomplished. 2.
