Product Manager, Payments Lifecycle
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience in product management. Preferred qualifications: + Experience in a commerce related field. + Experience with managing mobile technology/payments. + Experience developing technical roadmaps and plans to implement solutions, and communicate roadmaps to the cross-functional stakeholders. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users. + Launch new features and optimizations focused on driving and developing business and return on investment (ROI). This involves ensuring a delightful and frictionless subscriber experience while increasing developer ROI on Play subscriptions platform. + Build and optimize easy-to-adopt features to increase business generation flexibility and performance for subscription developers using Google Play subscriptions platform. + Collaborate with teams including Apps and Payments to produce Product Requirements Document (PRD) and other key deliverables aligned with broader Play team purposes. + Partner with the analytics and data science teams to design metrics and Machine Learning (ML) purposes, including a principled approach to trade-offs across key metrics. + Collaborate with User Experience Research (UXR) to understand global developer motivations, engaged trends, and unmet needs to design new product features in this space.
