The Position

 

Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for driving the implementation of the brand strategy with a focus on maximizing customer engagement.  The major areas of accountability include:

Development and execution of OPU operational plan for the defined brandsDrive brand performance with a strong focus on driving sales growth and market share gain of assigned brands within the OPUCross functional alignment with Medical Affairs and SalesContinuously updates and educates the organisation on topics relevant to the defined brand   supporting the sales functions with updates and training materials for the defined brandsWorks closely with the ROPU brand team to provide continuous input and feedbackInfluences the development of ROPU brand strategies by providing local input in relation to market, competitor and customer insightExecute medico-marketing initiatives to maximise customer engagement (to include Expert Engagement initiatives, CME, multichannel)Ensures the preparation and implementation of activities for new product launches

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Strategy:

The Product Manager is responsible for the tactical execution of the brand strategy to maximize business performance

2. Driving business results/ process/ cross-functional collaboration:

The Product Manager is responsible for providing input to business planning cycle (Outlook and Long-term forecast {LTF} process)The Product Manager is responsible for Operational Plan developmentThe Product Manager is responsible for Operational plan implementationThe Product Manager is responsible for ensuring Launch readinessThe Product Manager is responsible for fostering and encouraging teamwork and cross-functional alignment in the local brand team and with the ROPU brand teamThe Product Manager is responsible for monitoring and reportingThe Product Manager is responsible for customer engagement

3. People:

The Product Manager supports knowledge and skill sharing within the organizationThe Product Manager builds relationships with respective functions within OPU assigned

 

Requirements:

Minimum Education / Degree Requirements: 

Bachelors degree in Business Administration/ Pharmaceutics / Others

Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies):

Business and Marketing AcumenCustomer OrientationStrategy DevelopmentProject ManagementEffective ExecutionRelationship ManagementProficiency in MS Office, Outlook and database applications
