**Your role and responsibilities**
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Product Manager to help drive the System Hardware aspects of our FlashSystem portfolio. This pivotal role requires a technical background with a solid understanding of hardware systems and how they interface with software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the execution, development, and success of our FlashSystem product line.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership Implement strategic plans that align with business objectives to ensure the FlashSystem portfolio's continued growth and competitiveness in the market.
* Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer service to define, prioritize, and execute on features and enhancements, ensuring they meet system hardware requirements.
* Tooling & Ordering Management: Oversee the development, maintenance, and improvement of tools supporting order processing, configuration creation, and management for our FlashSystem products.
* Configuration Creation and Management: Lead the process of creating and managing system hardware configurations that meet diverse customer needs, optimizing them for performance, cost, and reliability.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between internal teams, customers, and partners, gathering and incorporating feedback into product roadmaps and improvements.
* Market and Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and differentiation.
* Technical Deep Dive: Possess a deep understanding of system hardware, storage technologies, and related trends to guide product decisions and ensure technical feasibility.
* Project Management: Manage product delivery timelines, coordinate resources, and track progress against goals, ensuring successful and timely product releases.
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in a product management or equivalent role, preferably within the storage or IT technology sector. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with the ability to translate complex technical information into business value are essential.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Minimum Requirements:
* English language spoken and written proficiency
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in storage or related systems/HW product management.
* Demonstrated experience in enterprise IT, storage, data management, software and/or systems.
* Experienced in communicating with a technical audience, sales, business partners, and executives..
