Job Description
 

Gilead's mission is to discover, develop, and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As the Product Manager, HIV Treatment Marketing, you will play a crucial part in managing and coordinating financial and marketing-related activities for our HIV Treatment Portfolio. The ideal candidate is proactive, excels in a fast-paced environment, and is adept at juggling multiple projects. Your contributions will directly support our mission to provide effective HIV treatments and improve patient outcomes.

This position is located ONSITE at our Foster City, CA offices (Tuesday - Thursday full days) and is not eligible for relocation, local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing Support

Brand Management: Support HIV legacy brands by managing twilight websites, metadata, and PRC submissions.Promotional Materials Coordination: Oversee the routing and updating of field materials, including Field Direction Memos, ensuring their availability on digital platforms (Speaker Resource Center, iLearn, Veeva CRM/Engage, GMOPS).Materials Compliance Management: Manage the Continued Use Report and coordinate with brand leads for PRC submissions.Events Coordination: Organize and coordinate promotional materials for community events, conferences, and major meetings.Derivative Material Execution: Work with creative agency partners to develop derivative materials after core materials is approved; management of PRC from submission to approval.Ad Hoc Support: Provide additional marketing support and manage ad hoc marketing requests as needed.

Financial Management

Budget Oversight: Manage financial activities for the Treatment Marketing team, including LE planning, budget tracking, accruals, invoices, and forecasting.Financial Status Reporting: Track WO/PO status and provide bi-weekly status reports to the team, including data entry for accruals reporting systems.Vendor Coordination: Lead bi-weekly finance meetings with agency vendors, the marketing team, and FP&A.Work Order Development: Collaborate with brand leads to develop work orders.Cost Management: Oversee yearly print production costs and reporting.

Production Management:

Promotional Materials Reporting: Conduct monthly reviews and reporting for promotional materials.Inventory Management: Manage the GMOP system, including ASN and destruction forms, exception orders, inventory tracking, and reordering and ad hoc orders from field teams.Print Coordination: Coordinate print estimates, approvals, and distribution information for promotional materials.Quality Assurance: Review and approve proofs for all promotional materials to ensure quality and compliance.

Organizational & Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital marketing tools.Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving abilities.Collaboration & Customer Focus: Effective teamwork skills and a strong focus on understanding and delivering customer needs.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Basic Qualifications:

High School Degree and Eleven Year's Experience

OR

Associates Degree and Nine Years Experience

OR

Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years’ Experience

OR

Masters' Degree and Five Years’ Experience

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and Seven years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Prior advertising, digital, or communications agency experience is a plus.Experience with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and accruals.

The salary range for this position is: $146,540.00 - $189,640.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
