Amazon's Vendor Services team is seeking a talented, data-driven Product Manager based in Mexico to help transform our vendor relationships through innovative solutions and strategic insights.
As a Product Manager in Vendor Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing vendor management strategies, improving processes, and driving data-driven decision-making to scale our rapidly growing vendor partnerships. This role is perfect for someone who combines strategic thinking with analytical rigor and has a passion for delivering exceptional results.
This role collaborates closely with Business Intelligence Engineers, Brand Specialists, Team Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives that enhance our vendor management program.
Key job responsibilities
· Drive the development and implementation of vendor management solutions that optimize partnership outcomes and operational efficiency.
· Lead strategic initiatives to improve vendor performance metrics and program effectiveness.
· Partner with Business Intelligence teams to develop and enhance data-driven decision-making tools.
· Create and execute roadmaps for new vendor management features and capabilities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve tools, processes, and productivity.
· Define and track key performance indicators for vendor success and program effectiveness.
A day in the life
Your day as a Product Manager is a dynamic blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You might kick off by analyzing vendor performance data, identifying trends that will shape your product decisions. You will collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers to refine analytics dashboards while gathering insights from Brand Specialists about real-world vendor challenges. These interactions fuel your product strategy sessions, where you'll work on roadmap prioritization and feature development for vendor management tools.
As the day progresses, you'll find yourself diving deep into data to validate hypotheses about vendor behavior patterns, then shifting to whiteboarding sessions with your team to design innovative solutions. You'll connect with cross-functional partners to align on implementation timelines, review progress on ongoing initiatives, and ensure your products are delivering measurable impact. Between coordinating with engineering teams on technical requirements and presenting project updates to leadership, you'll also carve out time for vendor feedback sessions - because understanding their needs firsthand is crucial for building products that truly transform vendor relationships.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- English Proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
