Job Location: Hybrid WCO

Department: AECO, Agentic AI Integration Team

Level:  Product Manager (P3) - Commensurate with Experience

What you will do:

Trimble is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the implementation of a new consumption-based licensing model. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining the functionality and driving the execution of this alternative to traditional named-user licensing, enabling flexible and scalable usage across Trimble's diverse product portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with various business systems teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and successful rollout of this critical initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy (Implementation Focus): Translate the strategic vision for consumption-based licensing into actionable product requirements and a clear implementation roadmap.

Requirements Definition: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for consumption models, including token-based usage (e.g., for AI features, API calls) and account-level entitlement caps (e.g., disk storage).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business systems teams (e.g., IT, finance, billing), engineering, and various product teams to define technical specifications and ensure alignment on development and integration efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders across different Trimble divisions to understand their specific use cases, gather feedback, and ensure the consumption model meets diverse business needs.

Feature Prioritization: Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource availability, ensuring efficient use of development resources.

User Experience (UX) & Workflow Design: Work with design and engineering teams to ensure a clear, intuitive, and seamless user experience for customers interacting with the consumption model, from purchase to usage tracking and decrementing.

Testing & Validation: Support the development of test plans and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure the implemented solution meets defined requirements and quality standards.

Launch & Adoption Support: Partner with go-to-market teams to support the successful launch, adoption, and ongoing evolution of the consumption-based licensing model.

Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the new licensing model.

About Your Location

This role must be located in a time zone with significant overlaps with the targeted business areas of Trimble.  That means in North America or Western Europe.  Ideally, the candidate would be near a Trimble office and work on a hybrid schedule.

As this is a leadership role that will entail close collaboration with business units and product teams across the whole of Trimble’s solutions, travel to meet in person will likely be several times per quarter.

About the Agentic AI Team

The Agentic AI Team is a new team. This leadership role will have a significant influence on the organizational design of the team, working closely with Mike Tadros, Sr Director of Product for the Agentic AI Platform. The team is currently reporting through Trimble’s AECO segment, though we fully expect the Agentic AI Platform services will be leveraged to build AI-powered products across all three of Trimble’s segments. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how a global company leverages Agentic AI, defining new processes and embodying an AI-native culture.

Trimble’s Inclusiveness Commitment

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion have guided our current success while also moving our desire to improve. We actively seek to add members to our community who represent our customers and the places we live and work.
