Product Management Leader – Platform Services

What the day will look like The Product Management Leader, Global Studio will be responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for Aon’s next generation technology serving Aon colleagues and clients. This leader will work closely with solution line leaders, engineers, business leaders, and IT teams to design and launch a platform supporting centralized document management, data processing, machine learning, model management, and other shared services. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with Aon’s strategic goals and operational requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, IT, and end-users to understand internal needs and translate them into actionable product requirements. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Roadmap Execution: Be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data insights and metrics to prioritize features, measure impact, and continuously improve products. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external software vendors and consultants to supplement internal capabilities as needed. Budget Oversight: Manage budgets and resource allocation for internal software projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Compliance & Security: Ensure all software solutions adhere to Aon’s data protection, security, and compliance standards. Why Join Aon? Skills and experience that will lead to success Qualifications Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a global organization. Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML and data technologies. Familiarity with role-based access controls, document classification and machine learning preferred. Leadership: Demonstrable ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global and distributed environment. Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners. Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technical capabilities with business needs. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Location Flexibility: Based virtually in the US, with occasional travel to global offices as required. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $175,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
