Internship Summary:

  

The Internship Program with Ascension is designed to provide an on-the-job learning opportunity aimed at gaining \"real world\" work experience in a large healthcare environment, supporting leadership with data driven insights that deliver value to those we serve. Ascension’s objective is to provide a working and learning environment where interns can develop the skills and competencies necessary to grow into successful professionals and potential Ascension associates.

What You Will Do:

 

The Ascension GMDx Product Management Intern will develop product management skills through various work assignments focused on our digital consumer products. You will create a stronger digital experience for those we serve by maintaining a laser focus on our consumers and their journeys. You will build relationships with stakeholders, influence product roadmaps, and partner with our in-house product analytics team to complete data-driven experiments and measure outcomes.

 

What You Will Need 

 

Education:

 

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in a related field.We will also consider candidates in non-collegiate programs and those with applicable real-world experience.

Knowledge:

 

General understanding of and experience with product development techniques and Agile methodologies.Healthcare, Data Analytics, Platforms,  APIs, or Web Localization/Optimization knowledge a plus.

 

Preferred Competencies:

 

Skilled at organizing and paying attention to detailsAbility to prioritize work under tight deadlines while remaining flexibleAbility to work individually, as well as part of a teamExcellent written and oral communication skills
