Product Lead, Head of Americas and Bank Methods
Who we are About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The payments landscape is changing rapidly, and our team is at the forefront of this transformation. Depending on where you live, you may be used to paying with a credit card (United States), iDEAL (Netherlands), or UPI (India), among hundreds of other global payment methods. How you pay is increasingly dependent on where you are, what kind of consumer you are, and what business you're buying from.

The Global and Local Payment Methods (LPM) team is responsible for Stripe's products outside of the US, as well as Stripe’s fastest-growing payments business: local payment methods. We help Stripe expand globally and build the payment methods that help businesses drastically increase their revenues and grow. Underpinning all of this, we also build the platform that enables us to scale and distribute payment methods efficiently.

What you’ll do

As the Product Lead, Head of Americas and Bank Methods at Stripe, you will be responsible for two strategically important pillars of the Global and LPM team:

Our product strategy, roadmap, and execution in Latin America and Canada (all non-US countries in the Americas), and Our Bank Methods products.

For Latin America and Canada, you’ll help determine which product features we should prioritize to win in these markets. In LatAm, you will improve product-market fit in Mexico and chart a product strategy for Brazil. You will also help evaluate whether and how we should expand into other LatAm countries. You’ll think creatively about the product and infrastructure required to achieve our goals, and assess whether to build, partner, or buy in the region. This work will require deep cross-functional collaboration with other product teams to ensure their products are localized effectively.

As the leader for the Bank Methods team, you’ll define the strategy, set the roadmap, and work closely with engineering to build Stripe’s Bank Methods products. Your work will span:

Strategic direction (e.g., should we focus on B2B businesses, platforms, Enterprise, or self-serve?), Product design (e.g., how do we build a product with the low cost of bank methods and the ease of use of credit cards?), and Day-to-day roadmap execution.

For both pillars, your scope will be global, though the engineering teams you work with will primarily be based in the US and Europe.
