Reporting to the Director, Innovation & Product Planning, the Product Innovation Manager is responsible for driving open innovation initiatives and strategic product planning for water treatment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment process and technologies, a passion for fostering external collaborations, and a proven track record in developing and launching successful products.
This position is part of the Innovation team located in Canada. Preferred location is London, Ontario, but the role is open to remote candidates in Canada/US with willingness to travel. Local candidates are hybrid (up to 4 days/week in office); remote candidates must travel to the office, conferences and customer sites totaling about 25% travel.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
Identify valuable customer problems in attractive markets.Develop and implement business cases, strategic product plans and product roadmaps for industrial and municipal applications.Actively seek and evaluate external technologies, ideas, and innovations and lead collaborations to accelerate solution developments.Coordinate with project teams to address challenges and facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales and marketing, to drive the development of innovative solutions for disinfection, contaminant destruction and removal opportunities.The essential requirements of the job include:
