Product Industrialization Engineer Diagnostic X Ray Systems (DXR)
Do you want to play a key role in the introduction of new products? As Product Industrialization Engineer, you are the representative of product industrialization in multi-disciplinary teams ensuring best in class transition from Product development to manufacturing. In this role, you have the opportunity to develop and improve processes, tools, and equipment of the Manufacturing systems within the PDLM cycle, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes. Product Industrialization Engineering (PIE) is part of Project team of NPI & ensures factory is ready to rollout NPIs in the factory. **Your Role:** As Product Industrialization Engineer you, + Will be part of the Business Unit Diagnostic X Ray Systems (DXR). This Business delivers medical systems and solutions that are based on the usage of X-ray. Within this DXR Business the Product Industrialization department is responsible for developing and releasing the manufacturing process for new products considering people, quality, processes, tools and the performance of production execution from order to installation, with the purpose to establish faster, better and cheaper realization processes in order to achieve world class results. + Report to the Product Industrialization Engineering Manager of DXR and work closely together with R&D engineering, quality, supply chain, catalog development and manufacturing teams. + Execute the processes and standards in adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies. + Ensure adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications, and release. + Are accountable for transfer process and manufacturing Requirements based on Product Specifications and Test requirements from R&D. + Provide active input on improving the Manufacturability of the New Product + Identify, design, implement and validate manufacturing processes, tools and equipment enabling quality and efficiency. + Prepare & Release of Manufacturing DMR (Work instruction, PFMEA, Process validation docs etc) + Are responsible for M-BOM and routing Master data until release to delivery + Are responsible for establishing Inspection and Test Criteria during manufacturing for Philips owned components and assemblies in Philips factory **You're the right fit if:** + Bring approximately 6 years of experience in a similar role, such as New Product Introduction or Manufacturing Transfer Projects. + You are located in The Netherlands + Have worked in a global environment for at least 3 years. + Possess hands-on experience with tools and methodologies like FMEA, 8D, SPC, RCA, and Lean Manufacturing. + Are well-versed in manufacturing fundamentals and have worked in accordance with standard quality management systems (preferably in the medical industry). + Understand and apply Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test (DFMAT) principles. + Have experience working with PLM systems (preferably Windchill) and ERP systems (such as SAP). + Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics (preferred), Mechanics, or Industrial Engineering. + Are open to occasional travel, though it is not a regular part of the role. + Communicate effectively in English and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. + Thrive in a team environment, are self-driven, and bring a continuous improvement mindset with a results- and quality-oriented approach. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
