Product Group Manager - Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE)
Description The Product Group Manager – Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) will lead the strategic development, financial performance, and partner integration of a new nationwide credit program. This role will be instrumental in launching and managing a full-spectrum consumer financing solution in collaboration with a technology partner and OEM providers, delivered through a national dealer network. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in product management, credit risk collaboration, and strategic roadmap development across both existing and emerging verticals. Key Responsibilities: + Strategic Leadership:Define and execute the strategic direction for the OPE product segment, aligning with corporate goals and market opportunities. + Partner Integration:Lead the integration of technology and OEM partners into the credit program, ensuring seamless operational execution and stakeholder alignment. + Financial Management:Own the financial performance of the OPE product line, including P&L accountability, pricing strategy, and profitability optimization. + Credit Performance Oversight:Collaborate closely with Credit Risk to monitor, analyze, and manage credit performance, ensuring sound risk practices and portfolio health. + Product Development & Roadmap:Identify and prioritize product enhancements and new features based on market trends, dealer feedback, and strategic growth opportunities. Explore expansion into adjacent verticals. + Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain strong relationships with internal teams (sales, marketing, credit, operations) and external partners (dealers, OEMs, tech providers). + Market Intelligence:Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments to inform product strategy and innovation. Basic Qualifications: + At least 7 years of product management experience, preferably in consumer lending, financial services, or equipment financing + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field Preferred Qualifications: + Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) + Experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment or adjacent industries + Strong understanding of consumer credit, risk management, and financial modeling + Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships and cross-functional initiatives + Excellent analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making + Proficiency in project management and agile methodologies + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools + Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills + Passion for innovation, customer experience, and delivering results This position supports a national business. Compensation Range: $93,000-$189,000 Annual Salary The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
