Product Governance Analyst

We are seeking a curious and self-driven Product Analyst to join the Product Governance team. As a Product Analyst you’ll review, analyse and interpret customer outcome data to assess each of our retail product’s design and its distribution conditions, to ensure they align with regulatory obligations. You’ll provide responsible product managers with insights from your review and solution-based recommendations.
Your new role
In this role, you will:
Collect and validate data – source customer outcome data (claims, complaints, feedback, metrics etc), regulatory, customer advocacy and competitor environment themes.Analyse and interpret data – Assess whether product outcomes demonstrate value and confirm that products are being sold to the intended customer segments.Identify solution-based outcomes– Propose recommendations with tangible actions to improve customer outcomes, including categorisation of urgency.Write report and deliver – Prepare and deliver comprehensive customer outcomes reports to the responsible Product Manager.Track and monitor – Follow up on post-review actions and recommendations, ensuring visibility through Product Governance Dashboards.About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to act as a strong advocate for customers, with the conviction to stand behind insights and recommendations that support good customer outcomes.A strong sense of curiosity to analyse and interpret data (quantitative and qualitative)Understanding of the Design and Distribution obligationsKnowledge of financial retail product lifecycles, design, distribution strategies and monitoring of effectivenessAbility to critically assess translate data into actionable recommendationsClear written and verbal communication skills to present findings to key stakeholders.About QBE
