Summary of Responsibilities:

The Cash Management Product Specialist is responsible to generate NY Cash Management Revenues and comply with established budget and goals. He/she will have an assigned portfolio of CIB clients as relationship contact for accounts that are handled at BBVA S.A. New York Branch.

As part of the cash management sales functionality, he/she will proactively call on clients and relationship managers from the different BBVA subsidiary banks to generate new business and cross sell GTB services. He/she will obtain appropriate account opening documentation for NY services; prepare client presentations and/or RFPs and pricing proposal, coordinate client demos and client onboarding. Also, he/she will be responsible for account opening, account management and client support services including know your customer (KYC) and due-diligence requirements. Also, act as liaison between compliance and the business units by providing information to complete the annual review and re-certification of the accounts as well as resolving specific concerns for new and existing accounts, including obtaining updated documentation. She/he will work with the compliance/finance/and local teams to proactively manage accounts that become inactive or that are in overdraft position. In addition, will coordinate any new product launch initiatives or changes to existing services by coordinating with the different support areas including legal, compliance, new product committee, procedures, operations to ensure services are up to date. He/she will coordinate any management reports including assisting in defining CM budget, monthly reviews & follow up on YTD results. Finally, provide support to the cash management team on other customer and product activities.

List Major/Essential Job Duties:

Responsible for revenue generation in order to accomplish the budget and goals of the NY Cash Management teamManage an assigned client portfolio and have direct client contact for new products/services, client requests including documentation, pricing reviews, etc.Direct contact with BBVA’s Account Relationship Managers across BBVA entities regarding potential new account openings and cash management for CIB clientsActively participate in sales initiatives to support the budget process.Prepare pricing proposals, RFPs, client presentation and coordinate new onboarding of time deposits and cash management servicesFor each new customer, provide the account opening and service agreements and the list of required documentation directly to the client. Receive, review and discuss drafts of documentation and any exceptions. Discuss and obtain documentation exemptions from COD, Legal and Compliance.Perform KYC and due diligence on new and active accounts including contacting clients to obtain updated documentation.Complete onboarding process for Cash Management services using the required systems and procedures.Coordinate any new product launch initiatives or changes to existing services/procedures by coordinating with the different support areas including legal, compliance, new product committee, procedures, operations to ensure services are up to date.Coordinate with Global Sales team completion of local activities related to the onboarding of services such as global eBanking and Direct Channels connectivityReview with customers the fee schedules and any pricing issues or exception requests. Obtain appropriate approvals on exception pricing.Follow up on overdrawn accounts by contacting the customer or in country Relationship Manager.Prepare CM monthly budget and variance analysis and reports & follow up on YTD results.Provide support on any management reports as well as sales, customer and implementation support for CIB clients.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience working with Cash ManagementFully bilingual / professional level Spanish and English

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
