Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a Product Fulfillment Specialist in Knoxville, TN! In this key role, you’ll support the Product Fulfillment Management team’s mission to deliver hardware and software to customers efficiently and on time. By optimizing end-to-end processes through innovation and automation, you’ll help create a best-in-class customer experience. This role involves close collaboration with the Supply Chain team, Emerson Field Sales Offices, Emerson Impact Partners, and Local Business Partners to ensure timely fulfillment of SYSS products.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Drive material allocation for Systems and Software project and spares requirements according to customer request and supply chain delivery lead times
Collaborate with all Supply Chain functional groups including but not limited to Material Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Trade Compliance and Distribution, to drive material allocation, prioritization and timely order fulfillment up to invoicing.
Establish long-term business relationships with Emerson Local Offices and Business units through consistent and proactive communication to achieve target service levels.
Lead World Area calls to proactively communicate with customers of any delays or risks in order shipment including working with other functional groups to address issues.
Drive improvements in on-time delivery, unclean orders, material issues and other order-related issues performance with specific account contacts and functional stakeholders.
Generate metrices and reports that will help identify trends and operational gaps, and drive actions to meet business goals.
Recommend and institutionalize process improvements within the function and in the department.
Facilitate closure of finance related queries such as Corrective billing, Credit Notes/Memo, Pricing Issues, Invoicing Issues.
Lead in the root-cause analysis and propose preventive and corrective actions on reported issues and customer feedback.
Perform ad-hoc order-related transactions as necessary for internal and back-to-back purchase orders, consignment orders, and manual shipment orders.
Manage hardware and software returns based on Quality and/or Project requirements which may involve multiple distribution centers
Lead in the communication and execution of recall processes due to Quality concerns working with Product Support/Engineering, Quality and multiple Supply Chain groups to ensure readiness and timely and appropriate response to customer issues
Manage installed base system hardware and software asset changes including but not limited to system splits and mergers
Train Emerson Local Offices and Impact Partners with product and process updates

For This Role, You Will Need:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain, Electronic Manufacturing, Engineering, or Logistics Operations
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or equivalent experience
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Power Automate and Power BI platforms
Exceptional problem-solving ability with a process-oriented approach
Has practical experience in using ERP systems like Oracle or SAP

Driven to succeed and highly-motivated
Can work independently with minimal supervision with strong collaborative skills
