The Product Experience position will define, plan, and drive the customer experience-based verification testing of Allegion new and significantly updated products. This position will interact directly with Product Development, Product Lifecycle Engineering, Technical Services Call Center, and Field Specialist teams to define product customer facing touch points and to launch new products with robust features that are easily understood, set up, and maintained by Allegion customers. As a core project team contributor, you will influence and validate early product designs, streamline product implementation processes, and verify end user Use Cases. They will also establish Alpha and Beta testers for the product and gather feedback. Customer-facing issues and areas identified for improvement will be documented, communicated, and escalated to the project team for consideration and action.

What you'll do:
Work closely with NPD program extended team members to effectively communicate witnessed and anticipated Customer interface and experience-based concerns and to drive user expectations into our new product offerings.Collaborate and deliver product training materials and support to fully describe new products, provide anticipated customer questions, solutions, and to ensure the Call Center and Field Specialist Support core team members are knowledgeable and ready to support at launch.Define and verify anticipated customer experience issues and concerns with new products or products with significant updates focusing on the real Customer Experiences being delivered.Review historical customer feedback and consult with current customers, Technical Services, Field Support, and Marketing associates to uncover and baseline attributes of similar products currently offered, with the goal of identifying customer experience improvement opportunities and features in each new product offering.Define product experience-based requirements with engineering and product management associates.Drive simple and intuitive product designs and end user experiences that improve adoption of Allegion products:Perform early prototype product, minimal viable product testing and system validations with use case driven scenario testing to discover, manage, and avoid product frustrations and fielded product problems.Promote design guidelines UI/UX best practices and Allegion standards throughout our products, software applications and website interfaces.Drive common features across similar products so that Allegion products interface and work better together.Work closely with project teams, business stake holders and external vendors or contracted sources to define actions, budget, and schedule customer experience validations with actual product installations, witnessed real-life installations and product use at customer sites.Train, direct and mentor the Field Specialist associates to extend the Product Experience influence, providing additional capacity to support Allegion NPD programs.Responsible for expanding alpha/beta sites throughout the US.Ability to effectively work remotely with local, US based and international teams.Ability to appropriately manage multiple projects and high priorities effectively.Familiar with:Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless communication methods, features and requirementsEmbedded controller product implementations and limitationsAccess Control ConceptsInternet of ThingsPower supplies and multimeter.Support company values and mission to create a customer centric culture.Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, communication skills.Project a professional company image and positive, can-do attitude.Demonstrates strong commitment to providing excellent customer focused solutions.Build trust with Allegion teams through complete follow-through on all business commitments.What you need to succeed:
