Job Description

The newly formed Solution Validation Growth (SVG) team within Consumer payments is looking for an individual with a technical bent of mind and interest in product ownership to help us continue to grow and launch new features and services. This role reports to Validation vertical with in SVG

The Technical Product Manager requires hands-on experience which includes the following responsibilities:

Work closely with Visa’s technology and product teams to understand new business initiatives as well as the impact on current and new client projects and build Validation platform for Sandbox and Production, be the Product Engineer for the Validation platformDesign, develop proof of concept to validate that the user interaction flows documented in the service blueprint developed by the UX designers, Product and the Solution ArchitectsDiscuss technical implementation details with architects and other technical teams.Collaborate with engineering teams to build robust, reliable, and scalable payment processing platforms.Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness, cost/benefit analysis and increased customer satisfaction.Build and enhance positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Define product/technical requirements which involve writing clear, thorough, and detailed user stories for complex features and product sets.Work very closely with development and QA organization to ensure technical specifications and final product meet business requirements.Support the development team in building deliverables in accordance with compliance, security and quality standards for Visa required deliverables and the card payment ecosystemParticipate in daily scrum meetings for the teams executing on projects being driven.This position may require off-scheduled work including late evenings / weekends in support of client and company configuration changes and associated post-production validation.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

5 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 or more
years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree experience in the job offered or in a related software engineer, front end engineer occupation.
Must be able to build front-end and back-end applications from scratch.
Must be proficient in writing code and building POCs, using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js or and equivalent modern web technology.
Expert in web service standards and related patterns (REST, SOAP, gRPC, etc)
Solid understanding of database technologies.
Experience in software development lifecycle in an e-commerce or web environment
Have experience in technical implementations of large scale, highly available, robust web or mobile applications.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to respond resourcefully to new demands, priorities, and challenges.
Must have experience in Identity solutions like oAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, security tokens (JWS, JWE, access token, id token) or other IAM
Must have Cryptographic knowledge & Key Management
Must have experience in scripting for API testing tools such as Postman or similar
Have knowledge/experience of Design Thinking.
Experience with product management software tools such as Jira Align.
Have knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Proficiency working in an agile environment.
Experience working in the Payments space.
Strong (internal and external) Client facing (communicative and written) skills
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Analytical mind – have a curious mindset with an interest in solving problems alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills, driving insight from data analysis.
