This position is part of the Charge Cord team and is located in Warren, Ohio or Troy, Michigan.

Summary:

Develop new Aptiv Electrification products and implement technologies while supporting/coordinating customer quotes, and design transfers to production team(s), for Electrified vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Lead design / development of electrified products and electrical system for North American OEM’s

Coordinate design and design change activities for various electrified vehicle customersWork closely to Product development teams to align Aptiv technology with customer needs and business pursuitLead implementation of the latest technologies into Aptiv product designsExploit Aptiv product differentiators that provides a competitive advantage (technology, cost, quality, services)Leverage Aptiv organizations and products into proposals for new business opportunitiesWork with Aptiv sales and Business Lines to ensure business objectives are metCreate and deliver technically strong customer presentationsSupport, and work closely, with Aptiv Electrification teams in other regionsAvailable to monitor and participate in harness and customer launch activitiesEnsure compliance with customer specific requirements

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)2+ years' experience in automotive and/or wiring system roles1+ years' experience in a team environment1+ years' experience in Electrical Schematics/Vehicle mechanizations understanding
