Your role:
Product development:
Leads all development activities related to design of High Voltage components (plastic & metal parts) acc development process with limited supervision
Responsibility for engineering documentation, especially for 3D/2D CAD, toler study, BOM, …).
Proposes improvements
Leads Design Reviews under supervision.
Responsibility for DFMEA content in PE area
Cooperation with other Aptiv dept. & suppliers:
Cooperation with internal departments, especially with: tooling, manufacturing, testing laboratory during all product development phases
Cooperation with suppliers under limited supervision
Prototype & serial tooling:
Approval for first parts before delivery to customer
Technical contact with prototype supplier
Propose improvements based on F&F and/or first tests
Testing & Validation:
Understands tests specifications
Reviews test reports
Supports test matrix creation
Requests tests
Approves tests setups
Analyses failed tests and proposes changes
Training:
Performs on the job trainings
Identifies training need for him/herself
Technical knowledge:
Familiar with BOD & lessons learned
Provides input to enhance them
Familiar with production process in CS and harness plants.
Familiar with test equipment in Lab
Utilizes all the analytical tools
Is familiar with competitive products
Customer relationships:
Acts as a main Customer technical contact for current development
Understands Customer needs
Proposing solutions for customer complaints under supervision
Quality:
Works in compliance with EOS.
Your Background:
MSc degree in Engineering, with specialization in mechanics or mechatronics
Working Experience at least 2 years
Good skills in one of following CAD software, e.g.: Siemens NX - preferred, Catia V5, Inventor, ProE
Good knowledge of GD&T rules (dimensioning and geometrical tolerances)
Good knowledge of plastic parts design rules
Knowledge of electrical phenomena, especially high voltage / high current in automotive industry
Good command of English
Command of other foreign language
Team approach

Excellent time management for own tasks
Microsoft Office knowledge
High level of analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
