Product Engineer

What will your responsibilities be?
 

Validation and creation of proposals for Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing in drawings for components and assembliesExecution of Tolerance Simulation with 2D or 3D software (VisVSA)Analyzing, interpreting, documenting, and reporting of simulation resultsMaking proposals for improvements of product design, manufacturing and assembly process (e.g., fixing and positioning concepts) based on tolerance simulation results and / or measured data.Leading and contributing to workshops and trainings for geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.Cooperation with and support of engineering, manufacturing, quality, plants, and suppliers
 

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

Education: Degree in engineering, vehicle construction or technician with comparable education and work experienceBasic understanding of quality is a must (e.g., Datum / RPS system, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, Statistical process control)Knowledge of statistical tolerance investigations and 3D tolerance calculation software is an advantage (e.g., VisVSA, 3DCS, Cetol, Enventive)English language on intermediate levelBasic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, OutlookHigh focus on customers satisfactionGood communication skills
