Your Role

In your daily job you will:

Design plastic and components (2D and 3D) for connectors in vehicleMake validation plan and follow up validation progressPresent APTIV design proposals to customer and get customer approvalFollow customer vehicle build events and solve related issuesSetup/Maintain/Update design databaseLead cross function team to implement Engineering changesAssure adherence to all work proceduresStrive for lean organization and continuous improvement

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relatedMore than 3 years of design work experience in relative areaDeep knowledge of injection molding and metal stampingProficient in English (oral and written)Well trained CAD capability or CATIA/UG/Pro EGood communication skills

Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)

Good OEM customer relationship

Basic knowledge in IATF16949
