Product Director (Multiple Positions Available)

DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Develop, articulate, and communicate product strategy for Commercial Digital banking products to drive deposit growth and maximize profitability. Perform roadmap prioritization and cost versus revenue analysis. Conduct market analysis including product strategy development and communication, industry trend tracking, market surveys, competitive intelligence gathering, regulatory intelligence gathering, collating client feedback, and segmentation analysis. Drive prioritization, development, and execution of key strategic product initiatives by managing all product lifecycle activities including detailed analysis, use case definition, requirements gathering, test planning and execution, process design, development, marketing, price modeling, and product launch. Drive execution of digital payments strategy by helping with design and implementation of detailed complex system specifications or programs for bank's digital payments product set, leveraging both traditional and emerging payment rails and systems in the industry, including wire transfers, SWIFT, ACH, real-time payments, and Zelle payments. Lead product administration activities including: participation and leadership in internal partnership meetings and discussions; cooperating with, responding to, and remediating findings related to audits; vendor management; compliance with regulatory and compliance issues and updates; and risk management. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across and outside the organization to grow and manage the business, including technology, analytics, risk, marketing, legal, compliance, operations, service, sales, and third party vendors and partners. Manage a team of product managers, mentoring and coaching them to ensure that the projects delivered within corporate digital team are executed at a high quality and on time. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for internal company meetings and conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study plus ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or as Product Director, Product Manager, Product Management Advisor, Business Systems Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: banking or financial services industry; cash management or treasury management within commercial banking; money movement and payments domain within the banking industry; digital product management within the banking or financial services industry; and leadership or management experience within the payments domain, specifically across mobile and desktop or browser channels. This position requires five (5) years of experience with leading and managing new product development for money movement products within the banking industry, from concept to execution and commercialization. This position requires four (4) years of experience with faster payments, real-time payments (such as Wire or ACH), and Zelle within the banking industry. This position requires knowledge of the following: all domestic and international payment rails used within the continental U.S, including SWIFT and Bill Payment Platforms; and software engineering concepts including data management, data structures, database management systems, business information systems, and computer architecture.
Job Location: 1333 N California Boulevard, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for internal company meetings and conferences.
Full-Time. Salary: $274,456 - $285,000 per year.
