Product Director, Payments and Banking
Ford Credit is searching for a Product Director, Payments and Banking, who will build and implement digital products and experiences that our customers across Europe will love. These experiences will have the power to transform our relationship with our customers. You will be responsible for several payments and banking products used both internally across departments and by our end customers. You’ll work closely with our Global Product and Tech teams to understand what payment capabilities need to be built on a global scale and use your judgement to identify specific EU market needs. This is a rare opportunity to apply your unique Product, Design and Tech skillsets to create your own Product practice to support the wider business. As a Product Director, Payments and Banking, you will be responsible and accountable for the delivery and growth of our payment and banking solutions built both in-house in partnership with our global platforms and externally through our trusted partners. You'll manage a team of product managers and product analysts in a complex and matrixed environment whilst owning the future vision and roadmap of your area. You’ll be expected to: + Land awesome payment and banking products that will revolutionize the financing business + Drive the vision and product roadmap, while delivering high quality and impactful launches through close partnership with a cross functional team + Support end-to-end online experiences in financing vehicles from Shopping, Buying and Credit Approvals to Ownership and Renewals of vehicles + Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and other teams to create, drive, and deliver an innovative, compelling, and user-friendly experience to customers + Inspire and grow a team of product managers and analysts and collaborate with a large team of dedicated engineers and designers + Unlock roadblocks at the corporate level and cultivate collaboration with senior product leaders across Ford Credit through leadership, creativity, intelligence, and presence + Develop and grow the team through mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies **The minimum requirements we seek:** + A proven leader who drives the strategic roadmap and end-to-end product management lifecycle from development to deployment + 10+ years’ experience working with digital data-oriented products + You’ve built, customised or improved payment products and services that can be leverage by other teams and systems + You can articulate a strategic mission that translates into the necessary actions to drive outcomes and land products that improve the customer experience + Experience working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas + Someone who inspires creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in developing product ideas and problem solving + Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate vision and seek alignment across parties + You can influence without authority, working on/with technical and cross-functional or highly matrixed teams who do not report into this role to get things done + Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education **Our preferred requirements:** + You champion the voice of the customer and integrate customer insight into the decision-making process + You have experience in the automotive finance market + You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities + Someone who understands the customer journey and has developed and delivered products to improve the customer experience and customer engagement **Additional Information:** _The Company is committed to diversity and equality of opportunity for all and is opposed to any form of less favourable treatment or harassment on the grounds of race, religion or belief, sex, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or disability_ _This position is based in Dunton and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 2 to 3 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements._ _As part of our pre-employment checks process, successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
