We are looking for a workshop supervisor reporting to a technical services department manager to oversee product development workshops. In this role, you will have a major impact on prototype development.

 

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Act as a role model and coach by promoting teamwork, innovation, development and autonomy of work teams in a healthy and communicative environmentPromote good labour relations in partnership with the Human Resources team and the LRB while ensuring the application of OHS, HR and privacy policies Manage and support a team committed and involved in the continuous improvement and elimination of waste in the smooth running of internal processes and the efficient use of tools and work methodsAnalyze, find causes and generate solutions to various departmental issues in terms of OHS, quality, productivity, employee development and cost management, while mobilizing the team to seek innovative and sustainable solutionsEnsure deliverables, follow up on departmental deadlines and ensure the proper allocation of resources within the budgetary capacity by minimizing turbulence and managing internal client prioritiesEnsure the  upkeep and facilities requirements of its departments, as well as the equipment and tools required to carry out the various activities

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

Excellent communicator, team player and good influencing skillsGood organizational skills, good management of priorities and sense of initiative;Mechanical knowledge as well as a broad knowledge of BRP productsGood interpersonal skills and ability to work in a partnership mode (human resources/LRB/management)Knowledge of Google, Word, Excel and SAP
