You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control environment.

Experience working in GSAR/BSAQ/QED. WERS experiences a plus.

In this position...

Responsible for Body Exterior systems on F-150 and Ford Performance. Support plant on any Stop ships, campaigns, quality issues. Support V75 – Exterior ornamentation and support BEV issues at KCAP.

What you'll do...

Develop ICA and PCA for both in plant issues and warranty issues. Lead root cause analysis using 6 sigma method. GSAR binning/re-binning, read claims, contact dealerships on parts, make HOT requests to ship parts to suppliers for root cause evaluation. Manage BSAQ project inputs, project health, and glidepaths. Provide part sign-off's to support builds. Review and sign-off SREA's. Support Plant MCR blitzes. Support Body Exterior VRT meetings. Support FTT issue resolution at plant. Participate in Dearborn-based VFG and FQR meetings when on the agenda. Coordinate/Support engineering change trials. Use local supplier rep if available. Support fresh eyes reviews on pre-builds. Support Launch when needed for small model years Approve Alerts and Concerns in WERS system
