ACST Semiconductor Technology development engineering of DuPont Electronic Material in Taiwan has an opening for a Taiwan Product Development Engineering leader. The product development engineering leader’s main tasks lie in manage the cleans team and the Slurry team in Taiwan, lead business projects, and successful mass-produce new products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead process optimization and engineering activities through internal / external partnerships & work with global R&D teams to support new product development for cleans and slurry technologies
Deliver stable process set-up with attention to process control, quality control item considering product properties, analytical fingerprinting, etc.
Collaborate with R&D, quality, and production teams to ensure seamless technology transfers and scaling up of new products.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering protocol’s, and process documentation.
Provide comprehensive analysis and insights on product development within all active projects across ACST cleans and slurry group
Lead and manage the product development engineering team responsible for TW ACST and slurry
Manage and develop engineering talent through coaching, training, and performance management.
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and commitment to safe procedures and operation.
Required Qualifications:
10+ year experience in industry experience
Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material science
A thorough understanding organic/inorganic/polymer chemistry and chemical engineering
Strong electrochemistry and materials science background, with expertise in organic materials characterization.
Effective at communicating project updates, plans, activities and results to both team members and management based domestically and internationally
Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels and across all functions of the organization
Position could require travel to both domestic and international locations in support of products, customers and partners
Ability to lead deep technical discussions and market/customer discussions
Able to develop and implement project plan and to lead cross-functional teams.
Team leadership experience
Strong knowledge and demonstrated use of statistics and design of experiments (DOE) principles
