Job Title: Product Development Technician
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. The Product Development Technician is responsible evaluating product performance to identify superior marketable productions and potential exclusive products..
Key Responsibilities:
Trial & Product Development Management: Plans, coordinates and implements trial plan for assigned crops in assigned territory. Visits breeder trials and identifies products to pursue and target. Identifies products to market. Provides technical data on new products including cultural and use recommendations. Identifies market segments with sales growth potential and recommend strategies for growth. Coordinates and follows up on salesman trial efforts to ensure proper reporting and to assist salesman with trial evaluation as required. Assists in collecting information to resolve product performance complaints.Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience & Knowledge: Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in plant science or agriculture and four or more years of vegetable crop or seed industry related work experience. Strong understanding of agriculture practices and product development processes.Core Competencies: Proven skills in collaboration, communication, business knowledge, and decision-making. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
