As a **Product Designer II** , you will define specific product needs based on user insights to ideate and define solutions to meet user needs. You will develop cohesive design concepts through the application of systems design. You will also ensure brand and design language coherence by mastering the usage of our design system. This opportunity will allow you to focus on end-to-end user experiences, empathizing and balancing experiences with business and technical constraints. You will partner with multiple product teams to research and analyze customer feedback for incorporation into the product and overall design language and strategy.

**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional partners and fellow designers to define product vision and strategy.
+ Learn from research insights and translate complex problems into elegant user-centered solutions.
+ Create architecture diagrams, wireframes, journey maps, and other elements to support experience design.
+ Clearly communicate and present work to team members while recommending ideas to create compelling product narratives.
+ Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of feedback and iteration.
+ Ensure accessibility, performance, and brand alignment in all deliverables.
+ Collaborate with Engineering and perform QAs to ensure quality while developing the ability to challenge design limitations.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 1+ year of experience utilizing Figma for efficient design workflows, including component creation, prototyping, and collaboration with team members.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of inclusive design best practices.
+ Experience in leveraging, maintaining, and contributing to mature design systems.
+ Experience in information architecture and systems design.
+ Understanding of AI technologies and responsible AI principles within the industry.
+ Experience in designing AI-powered experiences.
+ Experience in using AI tools for improved efficiency.
+ Interest in voice design.
Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $85,000 - CAD $166,800 per year.
