Product Designer

As a Product Designer at Trimble/Transporeon, you will be an instrumental leader within our Dock & Yard Mission Team, taking a core ownership role in redefining supply chains on a global scale.

At Transporeon, we operate under a Single Threaded Ownership (STO) model. You will be embedded within a fully autonomous, multidisciplinary mission team, collaborating with passionate colleagues from engineering, product management, and data science. In this strategic role, you will not just design, but co-own the product strategy and drive the design execution with a shared responsibility for achieving our collective mission: to create seamless connections from ‘Walls to Wheels.’

Responsibilities :

Co-own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap as the embedded design leader within the Dock & Yard Mission Team.

Embrace shared accountability for the overall success of the product, working seamlessly with the team to define, build, and iterate.

Lead the end-to-end design of intuitive and engaging user experiences, from user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and detailed UI designs.

Drive and synthesize complex user research and market analysis, translating deep customer and business insights into innovative design solutions.

Work with the team to define and interpret key metrics, using data to measure design effectiveness and demonstrate impact on the mission's success.

Champion user-centricity and uphold high standards of design quality, usability, and accessibility in all product deliverables.

Mentor other UX Designers, fostering their growth and contributing to the advancement of the broader design craft at Transporeon.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, HCI), Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.

7+ years of professional experience in UX Design, with a clear progression to a Senior level and a strong portfolio of shipped products.

A compelling portfolio that showcases your strategic thinking, problem-solving approach, design process, and the resulting user and business outcomes.

Proven experience leading design within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals and product success.

Mastery in core UX skills: user research, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, essential for working within a tight-knit, mission-driven team.

A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the team's mission.

Experience gained within the Transportation & Logistics industry would be an advantage.
